Abstract
The synthesis of [H-3]L-738,167, an orally active fibrinogen receptor antagonist, is described. A precursor containing the 2-bromotolyl moie ty was synthesized, and a reductive debromination reaction using triti um gas and Pearlman's catalyst gave the desired product with a final s pecific activity of 21 Ci/mmol.
