Abstract
The crystal structure of Li(C6H7O7). H2O has been determined by single -crystal X-ray diffractometry. It crystallizes in the triclinic space group P (1) over bar with Z = 2, The structure was solved by direct an d Fourier methods and refined to R1 = 0.031. Some comparisons with rel ated structures are made. The infrared spectrum of the salt was record ed and briefly discussed.
