Abstract
Glass slides and silicon chips were modified with aminosilane and vari ous linker molecules to provide activated surfaces for covalent immobi lization of oligonucleotides under ambient condition, and the surface- attached oligonucleotides remain active for solid-phase DNA hybridizat ion and polymerase chain reaction.
