Abstract
The zig-zag coordination chains [Cu-2(trans-oxen)(N-3)(Br)(n) [H(2)oxe n = N,N'-bis(2-aminoethyl)oxamide] with alternating bridges of trans-o xamidate and azide in bis-terdentate and end-on mode, respectively, ar e held together via axial Cu-Br linkage in a unique fashion to form an extended structure.
