Abstract
A new xanthone, atroviridin, was isolated from the stem bark of Garcin ia atroviridis (Guttiferae) Its structure elucidation and unambiguous NMR spectral assignment were achieved by the aid of the combination of 1D and 2D NMR techniques. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights r eserved.
