Abstract
The authors report a case of bacteremia and pericarditis, due to Campy lobacter fetus subsp. fetus in a 24-year-old woman with a history of b eta-thalassemia major, periodically transfused. Gentamicin treatment w as successful, but a pericardiac thickness is still observed.
