Abstract
We report a case of asymptomatic right diaphragm agenesis, in a 20-yea r-old adult hospitalized for internal bleeding. This kind of malformat ion is rare, particularly in adults thus it must be recognized. Imagin g modalities are the main tool for diagnosis. It may be suggested by c hest X-Ray US, baryum opacification and CT allow to establish a defini te diagnosis depicting the herniated organs. The treatment is surgical and the prognosis is in general good.
