Abstract
We have measured the optical and infrared colors of live Kuiper belt o
bjects to search for evidence of spectral diversity among these bodies
. We find extreme differences, especially in the measured V-J color in
dices, that indicate a wide range of surface compositions in the Kuipe
r belt.
