Abstract
Oxo transfer from N2O to divalent [eta(4)-Me(8)taa]Sn (Me(8)taaH(2) = octamethyldibenzotetraaza[14]annulene) yields the oxo complex, {[eta(4 )-Me(8)taa]Sn(mu-O)}(2); the bridging nature of the oxo ligand provide s a marked contrast with the terminal sulfide and selenido counterpart s, [eta(4)-Me(8)taa]SnE(E = S, Se).
