Abstract
2-Alkyl-1-benzostannepines 3 were prepared in one pot from (Z)-1-(o-br omophenyl)but-1-en-3-ynes 1 via tin hydride intermediates 2 and easily converted into 1-benzo-borepines 4 and 5, -stibepines 6, 7 and 8, and -tellurepines 9 by tin-metal exchange reaction in moderate to good yi elds.
