Abstract
A 4-year-old boy presented with sudden onset of fever, pyuria, and bac teriuria, ultrasound revealed left hydronephrosis and hydroureter. A p lain abdominal radiograph and excretory urogram show-ed a giant ureter al stone measuring 9 cm causing ureteral obstruction. Underlying anato mic or metabolic abnormalities were not detected. Extraction of the st one resulted in complete disappearance of the hydronephrosis and hydro ureter.
