Working conditions were determined for the determination of aniline, 4
-bromoanilne, and 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline as their 5,7-di
nitrobenzofurazan and 4,6-dinitrofuroxan derivatives by flow-injection
analysis. The selectivity of determinations of amino compounds in mix
tures is provided by varying the flow composition and selecting the re
agents. Procedures were developed for the determination of components
of model reaction mixtures for the synthesis of acetonanile (a rubber
antioxidant) and bromantan (a medicament) by flow-injection analysis w
ith the detection limit 5 x 10(-7) M.
