Abstract
The splitting of one-phonon coupling states in the weakly coupling mod el for odd-A nuclei is studied. Matrix elements are given explicitly, and an analytical expression for the energy levels is given in a pertu rbation approach. An application is given to Nb-93 and V-31. A compari son between the weakly coupling model and the shell model treatment fo r V-51 is discussed.
