FRONTIERS OF NUCLEAR-STRUCTURE

Current developments in nuclear structure at the ''limits'' are discus sed. The studies of nuclear behavior at extreme conditions provide us with invaluable information about, the nature of the nuclear interacti on and nucleonic correlations at various energy-distance scales. In th is talk, frontiers of nuclear structure are briefly reviewed from a th eoretical perspective, mainly concentrating on medium-mass and heavy n uclei.
