ANALYSIS OF THE RESIDENCE TIME OF WATER-SOLUBLE ORGANIC-MATTER ON THEBASIS OF LYSIMETRIC DATA

A scheme of determining the residence time (occurrence dynamics) of wa ter-soluble organic matter in different horizons of a soil profile fro m lysimetric data is outlined. The calculations will contribute to a b etter understanding of the dynamics of different soil-forming factors. The accumulated experience will permit researchers to address the sol ution to the more general problem of selecting the optimal ''bunches'' and revealing the regularities of their interaction in nature.
