Abstract
Following a generic account of Lactocollybia Sing. descriptions are gi ven of the following new species from South Africa - L. globosa D.A. R eid & Eicker, L. piliicystis D.A. Reid & Eicker, and L. variicystis D. A. Reid & Eicker. A key is provided to facilitate identification of th e South African members of the genus.
