Abstract
Traumatic lung herniation is a poorly described entity. An important f actor in the etiology of these lesions is the relative lack of muscula r support afforded by the anterior thorax. We report a case of blunt t horacic trauma complicated by an incarcerated lung herniation. (C) 199 7 by The Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
