Abstract
The gastroepiploic artery has been widely used for complete arterial m yocardial revascularization of young patients. Gastric complications r elated to the harvesting of this artery are exceptional. We describe h ere a case of ischemic gastric ulcer due to the use of a gastroepiploi c artery in a patient with severe celiac trunk disease. The patient wa s cured by angioplasty completed by a stenting procedure. (C) 1997 by The Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
