o-3,5-diaryl-1-(4-fluorophenylsulphonyl)-pyrazoles (2a-d) and 2-aryl-1
-(4-fluorophenylsulphonyl)-indoles (4a-e) were prepared from 4-fluorop
henylsulphonyl chloride and appropriate 4,5-dihydro-3,5-diarylpyrazole
s (1a-d) and 2-arylindoles (3a-e) respectively, via solid-liquid phase
transfer catalysis (PTC) using tetra-n-butylammonium hydrogen sulphat
e (TBAHSO(4)). THF was used as liquid phase and dry powdered KOH as so
lid phase. All the prepared compounds are characterized by their eleme
ntal and spectral (IR, PMR, Mass) analyses.
