Abstract
The reaction of y-5,5-pentamethylene-1,1,1-trifluoro-2-hexen-4-one wit h ethylenediamine, in contrast to the similar reaction involving ydrox y-5,5-dimethyl-1,1,1-trifluoro-2-hexen-4-one, leads to methyleneaceton yl)-2-trifluoromethylimidazolidine.
