Abstract
Cross sections and complete polarization transfer coefficients D-ij fo
r the charge-exchange H-2((p) over right arrow,(n) over right arrow)pp
reaction have been measured at E-p = 346 MeV and theta(lab) = 0 degre
es - 22 degrees. In the forward angles the prominent narrow peak due t
o the strong S-1(0) final state interaction (FSI) between the two resi
dual protons is observed while at the large angles the broad bump due
to the quasi-free scattering (QFS) becomes prominent. Characteristic f
eatures of FSI and QFS are well described by the simple plane-wave imp
ulse approximation (PWIA) calculations.
