Abstract
A modification of the meatal advancement and glanuloplasty technique ( MAGPI), the urethral advancement and glanuloplasty (UGPI), is describe d. Forty-seven patients, who had this operation from 1985 to 1994, hav e been reviewed. The overall complication rate was low with a 2.1% fis tula rate and a 6.4% incidence of meatal retraction. Only one patient required secondary surgery.
