Abstract
Because of the extremely accurate amplitude and phase balance that mus t be maintained within a feedforward amplifier subsystem to achieve th e necessary cancellation, the amplifier is very susceptible to various types of environmental disturbances. For this reason, some form of ad aptive control system must be used to keep the system optimally balanc ed. This article presents an overview of this control system, along wi th the microcontroller optimization routine.
