The localization of the IBM-1 eigenstates in bases corresponding to va
rious dynamical symmetries of the model is quantified by the informati
on entropy of the wave functions. Apart from the three standard limits
, also two additional symmetries, following from phase ambiguities of
the SU(3) and SO(6) generators, are considered. It is shown that the d
egree of the eigenfunction localization in the symmetry bases is corre
lated with the previously-found chaotic measures inside the Casten tri
