Abstract
A basic bloc, a few tens of meters in length, from the Monte Leone cov er (lower Penninic Alps) contains prasinites-ovardites and breccias of ten rich in varioles or bubbles. The stratigraphic age of the block is considered to be Triassic. The chemical composition is that of are th oleiite.
