Abstract
A thermodynamic physicochemical model has been developed for describin g stationary corrosion-related processes in the water-steam circuit of power plants. The qualitative and quantitative applicability of the m odel and the possibility of keeping these processes to a minimum are d emonstrated. Results are presented of modeling and optimization of sta ndard water-chemical regimes of the first circuit in VVER and PWR reac tors.
