Abstract
The possibility was studied of improving the protecting and strength c haracteristics of a lime chemical absorbent (KhP-I) by introducing sol utions of modifying additives in the stage of lime slaking. The influe nce of modifying agents on the porous structure of KhP-I was investiga ted.
