Abstract
The relationship between valence bond structures and the hydration act ivity of the aluminate minerals CA, CA(2) and CA(6) has been studied b y the SCF-DV-X alpha method. Comparing the calculated results, such as bond or order hydraulic activation energy and electronic energy level states, etc., we have confirmed the theoretical reason for the hydrat ion activity sequence of three aluminate minerals being CA > CA(2) > C A(6).
