Abstract
The catalytic performance of mordenite and alumina-supported Co or Cu was investigated for the selective catalytic reduction of NOx (SCR) in diesel engine exhaust using light oil or propane as a reducing agent. The NOx reduction activities of supported Co catalysts were higher th an that of supported Cu catalysts. Co-Al2O3 was most effective among t ested catalysts for SCR when light oil was employed as a reducing agen t.
