Investigations made by powder X-ray diffraction and magnetic measureme
nts on new ternary RRuGe compounds (R=Sm, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm) are
reported. They crystallise in the well-known orthorhombical TiNiSi-typ
e structure (space group Pnma). The RRuGe compounds with R=Gd-Er are C
urie-Weiss paramagnets above 77 K. The obtained results are compared w
