The generation of ozone has been investigated through test arrangement
s which consist of the use of a new type of high-voltage triggered pul
ser supply connected with a wire/cylindrical dielectric barrier discha
rge reactor. For this purpose various effects of discharge parameters,
like frequency, gas flow and applied voltage, on the ozone efficiency
and production rate have been clarified, and in particular the satura
tion mode has been displayed. The ozone reactor behavior is described
by a parametric law deduced from this experimental study.
