Abstract
Theoretical and experimental studies of phase-modulation effects in de generate four-wave mixing are presented in this paper. Our experiments and analysis show that phase-modulation effects change the phase-matc hing condition and lead to a decrease in signal output and a degradati on in conjugation fidelity.
