Abstract
The results are given of experimental investigation of heat capacity o f Zr-1%Nb alloy in the temperature range of from 500 K to the melting point and of enthalpy at the temperature of the onset of melting and t he beginning of destruction of specimen. It is shown that the value of enthalpy at the moment of specimen destruction depends on the rate of heating. The method of subsecond pulsed heating is used.
