Abstract
The energy variation of a parton passing through a quark-gluon plasma (QGP) is discussed by taking into account nonlinear polarization effec t. It is found that the parton can be accelerated by fluctuations in Q GP, which gives a new physical insight about the response of QGP to su ch external current.
