Abstract
Asymmetric manganese salen epoxidation catalysts are assembled and tra pped in a multistep synthesis in the cages of zeolite EMT; these heter ogeneous catalysts produce high enantiomeric excess in the epoxidation of aromatic alkenes with NaOCl.
