Gl. Fogli et al., STATUS AND PROSPECTS OF MSW AND VACUUM OSCILLATION SOLUTIONS OF THE SOLAR-NEUTRINO PROBLEM, Nuclear physics. B, Proceedings supplement, 66, 1998, pp. 358-361
The current interpretation of the solar neutrino problem in terms of M
SW or vacuum oscillations depends significantly on the absolute neutri
no fluxes, i.e., on solar model calculations. However, second-generati
on experiments such as SuperKamiokande, SNO, and Borexino, will be abl
e to test these neutrino oscillation solutions independently of solar
models. We discuss the theoretical estimates and the likely experiment
al uncertainties of several model-independent observables that can pro
vide unmistakable signals of neutrino oscillations.
