Abstract
Mononuclear complexes [Ni(lbptcn)] [ClO4](2), [Cu(lbptcn)][ClO4](2) an d [Fe(lbptcn)][ClO4](2) with a new hexadentate ligand ethyl-2-pyridylm ethyl)-4,7-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-1, 4,7-triazacyclononane (lbptcn) havi ng unequivalent pendant arms have been prepared and characterized by e lectronic spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography.
