Abstract
Dogs treated with anticonvulsants can develop hematologic problems, su ch as neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, and anemia. Drug-induced neutrope nia in dogs may predispose them to developing bacteremia.Dogs receivin g anticonvulsants should be periodically monitored to detect drug-indu ced hematologic problems.
