J. Chen et al., EPR STUDIES OF MN2- IMPLICATION FOR VARIATION OF THE EAST-ASIA SUMMERMONSOON( IN THE LOESS PLATEAU OF CENTRAL CHINA ), Chinese Science Bulletin, 43(1), 1998, pp. 72-75
Mn2+ EPR intensity recorded in the Chinese loess-paleosol sequence sho
ws close correlation with magnetic susceptibility and Sr content as we
ll as the oscillation of paleoclimate. Thus Mn2+ EPR signal can serve
as an indicator sensitive to the East Asia summer monsoon intensity fl
uctuations.
