Abstract
Total vapour pressure measurements made by the modified static method for the ternary system cyclohexane-methanol-hexane at 313.15K are pres ented. Different expressions for G(E) suitable for correlation of thes e data are tested; the constituent binary systems cyclohexane-methanol , cyclohexane-hexane and methanol-hexane, published previously, are al so discussed from the point of view of the present measurements for th e ternary system. The prediction of ternary VLE from constituent binar ies is studied. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
