Abstract
An attempt of adding a facility of investigating dynamic characteristi cs of oil film to a large full scale journal bearing test rig which wa s designed with only the function of static measurement is implemented . The considerations of impulse excitation, vibration measurement, dat a log and process, and dynamic characteristics identification are pres ented.
