PHOTOACOUSTIC AND FLUORESCENCE STUDIES OF RARE-EARTH BETA-DIKETONE COMPLEXES DOPED SILICA-GEL

A series of rare earth beta-diketone complexes doped silica gel have b een prepared by Sol-Gel technique, The photoacoustic and fluorescence spectra of these gel have been measured. Compared with the solid compl exes, emission peaks of these doped silica gel show redshift while pho toacoustic absorption peaks blueshift, The intramolecular energy trans fer processes of Eu-beta-diketones doped silica gel have been studied.
