The thermodynamic equilibrium model of acidic phosphoric extractant an
d metal system was studied with thermodynamic method. The activity coe
fficients of the components such as water, C6H14, extractant in organi
c phase can be calculated according to the thermodynamic relation, and
gamma(Cu)(2+) can be estimated according to Pitzer's equation. The ex
perimental data can be used to correlate and solved on computer. The r
esults showed that the thermodynamic equilibrium constant K was in the
range of 1.62 x 10(-7)similar to 5.26 x 10(-7) and the activity coeff
icients of the components were achieved.
