Abstract
The Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) and Laser Raman spectra of acryl amide and polyacrylamide are presented. The frequencies were assigned to various fundamental modes on the basis of normal coordinate calcula tions. The agreement between the observed and calculated frequencies w as good, and the assignment of the normal modes was satisfactorily rea lized.
