Abstract
Class E circuits have usually been analyzed for particular values of t he switch duty ratio. This paper presents a systematic analysis of the effects of the switch duty ratio on the design values and performance of Class E amplifiers and frequency multipliers, for various values o f the output network Q., Some new and promising design possibilities a re pointed out, especially for Class E frequency multipliers operating at low Q values.
