Abstract
This study examined survey responses of state vocational rehabilitatio n (VR) agency and rehabilitation education program representatives in a federal Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) region on emplo yment process-related issues of rehabilitation counselors. The respons es suggested that barriers were present that impede the RSA goal of in creasing employment of individuals with disabilities in public VR prog rams. The identified barriers and subsequent recommendations, gathered via input at a regional forum, provide some answers but also raise ad ditional questions related to each group's abilities and willingness t o meet this goal, and what steps are necessary to meet each other's ne eds.
