RADIOMETRIC COREGIONALIZATION OF LANDSAT TM AND SPOT HRV IMAGES

Radiometric coregionalization of Landsat TM and SPOT HRV images is pre sented in the conceptual framework of the theory of regionalized varia bles using direct and cross-variograms, The main steps of this process are introduced, regularization, variographic analysis and selection o f coregionalization model, and to show the practical aspects of this m ethodology two examples are analysed: the first considers the TM bands , and the second TM and HRV panchromatic bands. These models contain t he basic information about the spatial intercorrelation for pairs of b ands, and are necessary for multivariate geostatistical applications i n remote sensing, such as integration, co-registering and co-estimatio n of multisensor data.
