Abstract
In this paper, we consider the combined effect of group velocity and g roup-velocity dispersion mismatches on the performance of a two-channe l wavelength-division multiplexing soliton system. We show that these two effects, usually disregarded in the literature, should be accounte d for in the analysis of multichannel soliton communication systems op erating near the zero-disperson wavelength.
