Abstract
HIGHLY accurate frequency standards are key components in applications such as microwave test equipment and high-performance communications systems. A novel time/frequency standard achieves a high level of accu racy by employing received Global Positioning System (GPS) signals in conjunction with sophisticated signal-processing methods.
