W. Farah et al., OPTICAL-PATH MODULATION IN TRANSIENT PHOTOREFLECTANCE OF CDMNTE LAYERS, Physical review. B, Condensed matter, 57(15), 1998, pp. 8770-8773
Optical path modulation-an interference-based photoreflectance method-
is used to study the influence of magnetic properties on the band stru
cture of Cd1-xMnxTe. The results obtained due to the extreme sensitivi
ty of this interferometric method indicate a renormalization of the ef
fective mass under the influence of magnetic fluctuations, not observe
d so far. Time-dependent measurements supply additional arguments for
the thermomagnetic character of the modulation and allow one to study
magnetic relaxation phenomena. [S0163-1829(98)01012-1].
